(A/N-Not epilogue compliant! Beware, SPOILERS from all books! Caution, what you are about to read is a result of three days with only two hours of sleep, a VERY over active imagination, complete craziness, babysitting three midgets, and really wanting to read one of these that is exactly how I want it to be, but cannot. I WILL do all seven books, and, IF they plan on changing anything, a story of what they change. Please enjoy!!!)

Hermione and Harry were sitting in the Gryffindor common room, watching the fire, as they thought about the last few weeks. Harry had defeated Voldemort, then three days later proposed (and got a yes) to Ginny, the castle was being repaired at a miraculous rate, and for a while everyone seemed to be getting back to normal, or as normal as possible. Almost everyone seemed to start healing from the wounds, physical and emotional, left from the war. That was before the attacks started.
Ron, the first attack, had been in Hogsmead when he was hit from behind, he barely had time to see the bright green light coming towards him. Neville had been in the greenhouse at night, after having terrifying nightmare, when the glass wall shattered. He had just seen the bright full moon above when the werewolf’s teeth pierced his skin. Luna was attacked while stopping at Gringotts barely making it out alive, the Patil family was found dead in their house, and attacks kept happing left and right.
A lot of dementors were still lose, sucking out happiness everywhere they went. Boggorts were being found all over the place, showing the unlucky person their greatest fear. When George came across one, it turned into a Fred who was accusing George of not saving him, of letting him die. George was so devastated after the encounter that he gave up. He decided to stop all the pain by removing it, and he obliviated everything that had Fred or reminded him of Fred from his mind.
Both Harry and Hermione thought the world would be a much better, and happier, place after Voldemort was gone. They never thought that he would have left such a dark stain on life.
They heard the common room door open and quickly stood while drawling their wands. They kept them raised as they watched Ginny slowly walk towards them with her hands up.
“Ok, I see your both still a little edgy but, I can prove I am Ginny. Hermione, your first accidental magic was when you were four, and you made the furniture in your living room levitate when you were excited over a new book you got for Christmas; is that good enough.” Ginny said before they lowered their wands. “Professor McGonagall wants you up in her office Hermione, says it is important, and no I don’t know what it is.” Hermione grabbed her beaded bag before going thought the portrait hole and up to the headmistresses’ stone gargoyle.
“Constant Vigilance!” Hermione told the gargoyle before running up the spiral staircase and knocking on the wooden door. After receiving a reply Hermione quickly walked in and set down in chair in front of the desk.
“You wished to speak to me Professor?” Hermione asked.
“Yes Hermione thank you for coming up here. As you know over the last few weeks life have been hectic and grim for everyone. I know we won the war, but we did so at a heavy price. I had been trying to think of a way to try to lighten the burden that been place on everyone because of Voldemort. While I was pondering I suddenly remembered a device that Albus had invented and told me of many years ago. ” At this point she picked up a strange object and handed it to Hermione. It looked like a crystal hour glass filled with fine gold sand and a large red phoenix made of metal with a digital like display and small red button, hanging on a thick gold chain. She looked up a McGonagall to explain.
“This is a Phoenix Time Turner, it is powered by the purest magic we have on earth, phoenix magic. Phoenix magic gives of a distinct gold color that no other magic gives. It is not only the purest but also the most powerful. This time turner can take one person to any time, past or future, but it can only do it once.” Minerva finished allowing what she said sink in. Hermione looked at the sand, that looked to be made of pure gold, and then she realized what it meant.
“We can change it all. We can keep it all from happing, but how exactly? What time would we go to? What would we tell them?” Hermione said before realizing the most important question. “Who would go?” McGonagall just gave her a small smile.
“Me. I would need to go. It would need to be Harry, Ron or I, so we could explain things clearly, but Harry has Ginny and Teddy, and Ron’s… Ron is gone. I would need to go wouldn’t I? How would I explain this though?” She looked at her professor for help, hoping she might have the answers. McGonagall put seven thick books in front of Hermione before she started speaking.
“These seven books are all the events that have happened, in Harry’s point of view, from his first year at Hogwarts to the final battle. For what time to go to, I would suggest 1976, the marauder’s final year, two day before Christmas Holiday begins. I have written a letter to give to Albus that will prove to him what you say is true. You will have to convince the other yourself though. I think you should have these people read the books.” McGonagall said handing Hermione a list as well as the letter and books.
“Albus Dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall, Alastor Moody, James Potter, Lily Evans, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Frank Longbottom, Alice Smith, and Severus Snape, these sound all good, but I also would like to add Regulus Black. I think it would be beneficial for him to be there as well.” Hermione said after placing all the objects in her bag.
“I trust your judgment in this. I believe you can do this, Hermione. Remember to take away the wands before certain chapters, just as a precaution. Good bye and good luck.” McGonagall said with a small smile for her favorite student. Hermione took the Phoenix turner and place it around her neck before setting the display to the correct date and pressing the button. She felt a tight tugging at her navel before she started to spin at an alarmingly fast rate. She tried to keep herself from becoming dizzy as she spun, for what seemed like, ten minutes. She finally landed outside the stone gargoyle that she knew lead to Professor Dumbledore’s office. Hermione stood there, guessing sweet after sweet, hoping to get one right. She had been guessing for almost ten minutes when she shouted in frustration, “Caffeinated Maple-Bacon Lollipops”. She was laughing when she realized that the gargoyle had moved out of the way. Shaking her head at the headmaster’s craziness, she climbed the stairs and knocked on the door.
(A/N-I know this part was kinda rushed but I wanted to get to them actually reading the story. Please Review!!! PS: Who likes Caffeinated Maple-Bacon Lollipops, they are defiantly weird.)
